Brasshole Band Repair is a Band instrument repair shop located in Bismarck N.D.

I was born and raised in Bismarck and attended SMCHS and was a proud part of Bill Schmidt's excellent band for 4 years. I attended school at Minnesota State College Southeast Technical in Red Wing MN, where I studied band instrument repair. They are known for their expertise in instruction and world class technicians. I started my membership at that time to NAPBIRT, (National association of professional band instrument technicians) which I attended a few conventions and conferences throughout the years.

My professional experience began in Denver, Colorado where I went to work for Kolacny Music. I was fortunate enough to work on instruments of national touring musicians like Maceo Parker, Gary Bias and Nelson Rangell that came through town. I worked for Kolacny for 8 years.

My next adventure I was employed for 4 years with Makkin Music. They had 7 locations throughout Denver where I supervised and repaired instruments. Working at Makkin Music challenged and helped me grow in the music industry.

After 20 years in Denver, I decided to move back to Bismarck. Most of my family is in ND and I wanted to spend more time with them.

It has always been a dream to start a repair business here in Bismarck. I know there is a need for another option to assist the band kids, schools as well as the professional wind musicians in the area. I want to create a professional approach with a personal touch.

I am happy to be back in Bismarck and I am looking forward to meeting more people and helping out as much as I can.
